The Night Sky Network
The Night Sky Network (NSN) is a nationwide alliance of amateur astronomy clubs supported by NASA and managed by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific. Its primary mission is to support astronomy clubs in their outreach efforts by providing high-quality educational resources, training materials, and access to NASA-related content. Through the NSN, clubs can engage the public in hands-on astronomy experiences—whether at star parties, school visits, or community events—by using toolkits, presentations, and activities designed to make space science both accessible and exciting.
For members of an astronomy club, joining the Night Sky Network offers numerous benefits. Clubs gain access to exclusive outreach toolkits covering topics like the Moon, planets, exoplanets, and deep space objects, complete with visuals, activity guides, and handouts.
