2. Martz Astronomical Association & Martz Observatory: https://www.martzobservatory.org/ – Under “Education > Observatory Lecture Series” there’s some good beginner advice, equipment and book reviews.

4. Cloudy Nights: https://www.cloudynights.com – Great resource, with discussion forums, equipment reviews, and classified ads. 

5. The Telescope Review Site: https://www.scopereviews.com – Ed Ting’s website with over 100 telescope reviews plus beginner’ advice. The Beginners’ Advice section is well worth reading and provide the basis for this overview.

6. Rose City Astronomer’s Club: https://www.rca-omsi.org – The Frequently Asked Question section provided the basis for the Stargazing Tips and Etiquette portion of this document. The entire section is worth reading.
